Is anna hazare trustworthy ?

Jan lokpal bill movement had create a fresh wave and some amount of confidence to the citizens of this country. Soon after the governments acceptance of the demand there was a CD controversy. The Bushans were accused or alleged. The controversy is still remains unsolved and in court. Did the supporters of lokpal bill & anna hazare movement knew fully about Anna hazare and the Bushans. This whole movement was hyped by the extra ordinary media coverage. Did this movement had any hidden political agenda. The article that i read in www.openthemagazine.com show a different picture. Even though the movement was for a good cause, should supporter have scrutinised  them with more care and prudence. There is a long way forward for the lok pal bill and flight against corruption. In days to come one can unravel the mystery behind the Anna hazare and Bushans.

Kanimozhi still walks free…

image Kanimozhi’s bail plea is adjourned till 20 of this month. Public would certainly have a suspicion on the adjournment, this didn’t happen to all the other accused which includes high profile Raja who was ex-minster. Is there any influence on the judiciary?, certainly a question which needs no answer. Certainly there is a feeling that supreme court may come down heavily on CBI court. Congress party certainly is boasting of adequate action in the 2G spectrum scam but it’s clear and becoming evident that the entire investigation along with PAC and JPC would lead no were but to cover ups. This is the hard truth about the Indian government and the judiciary. We feel that judiciary is certainly not free and strong enough in India.

    Rahul is an opportunist

image Knowing fully well about the current situation rahul joined the farmers strike. Rahul is very much interested in his welfare, he is keen in building up his and congress party image in the state of Uttar Pradesh. surprisingly rahul did not join the Lokpal bill movement but suddenly find himself supporting the farmers violence turned non violent protest. When there was lokpal movement against his party and the central  government there was no comments from him but when the movement or protest is against other political party he jumps in immediately to support the protest. All his support id only for political mileage and for nothing else.

    Endosulfan should be Banned

Endosulfan is a pesticide which is heavy used in India agriculture, India is the largest user of Endosulfan, it is considered to be highly toxic and dangerous to human and human environment. The Kerala government had banned the use of endosulfan in the year 2001 and later it with drew the ban due do the pressure from the pesticide/fertilizer manufacturers, after about 10 year now Kerala government is once again seeking for a ban and for national wide ban. On the other hand congress government is reluctant on this issue as there are  pesticide companies interests  involved in it. It is high time that government should ban such toxic pesticide.

SC to pronounce on Bhopal case leak

image Every one is aware that Bhopal gas leak was the worlds worst industrial disaster but the victims have not got adequate justice till now. The victims were paid a sum of Rs.25000 which is very small sum compared to their sufferings, Today supreme court will pronounce it’s verdict on dilution of charges from 304 of IPC to 304A of IPC, CBI have filed a petition for more severe punishment as prescribed in 304 rather then 304 A, that is 10 year jail compared to 2 years of 304A for death due to negligence. everybody is hoping  that today’s judgement could bring some sense of relief for the Bhopal gas leak tragedy victims  and also if charges are reframed, this judgement will become a precedent for such new cases. That is industrial disasters will not be considered death caused by negligent but culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Helicopter crash strategy to eliminate political rivalry

In 2009 India witnesses YSR helicopter crash and in 2011 we have Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu killed in a helicopter crash. There is certainly no  similarities between both the crashes but certainly on can feel or suspect that there could be a human plot on both the crashes. is it the latest ways  to eliminate the top politicians without creating any suspicion?.

    Anna Hazare

    image

India in the recent past had witnessed an extraordinary or a very rare sight of a Gandhian way of peoples movement and to many young Indian it was first experience of such peoples movement. An unknown face till the movement began was Anna hazare, who was relatively an unknown person to most parts of India. He did not deliver a great speech nor did he request support from the rest of the country. He on his own started his movement against a weak lokpal bill. The government took a firm stand and did what ever it could do to defend the weak lokpal bill. The firm stand of the government helped the movement and anna to gain support from the rest of  India. Most citizen are  Frustrated with the level of corruption in India but very less had the courage and determination to fight against corruption, those who worked against the corruption also  remained mostly unorganised, this movement helped them to get organised. Courageous and a patriotic  Indians supported and took the movement to the streets of India. eventually government was forced to accept the demands of the civil society. Anna became the symbol of fight against corruption.

    Kanimohzi free till election results

The CBI court today has reserved the judgement on Bail plea by Kanimozhi and sharath kumar , MD of Kalaignar TV. This decision of the court clear show that there an influence of politicians over the judiciary system. The congress is well know to do this sort undue influence over the judiciary. Kanimozhi’s fate and 2G scam investigation will largely depend on the Tamilnadu 2011 elections. There is a possibility of last minute efforts to change influence over the counting of votes on 13th may 2011.

What if DMK lose the elections

There are chances that the 2G spectrum could be taken up seriously or at least the congress will get an upper hand over the DMK. The congress will use 2G as whip to control the DMK.  AIADMK will certainly exert lot of pressure on central government to act on 2G spectrum case. In that case Raja may be scarified . The chance of culprits being brought to book is very less. Certainly Alagiri will have a tough time if AIADMK comes to power. DMK will have to sit and solve a large number of problems if they loose this elections

What if DMK win the elections

In this scenario there is chance of complete cover up of the 2G scam, for sometime there will be a finger pointing politics between congress and BJP, after a while as usual close the case for lack of evidence. DMK will continue it dominance over Congress. DMK will exploit all avenues to make itself stronger both financially and politically.

DMK’s Double stand in 2G Spectrum

image Today in the court room the Kanimozhi’s defence council has accused raja of being the main conspirator and Kanimozhi had nothing to do with 214 Cr loan that Kalaignar TV received. To defend Kanimozhi, DMK has chosen to sacrifice Mr.Raja. When raja was accused for the very first time, DMK defend him by saying that Raja was dalit and so he was unfairly been targeted, but to defend Kanimozhi they are accusing raja now. This shows how politicians change colour quick and make sure that they are safe and in the comfort of power and money.

Contempt notice to Sahara Group chief

The  Supreme Court on Friday issued a contempt notice to Sahara India Investment Corporation’s managing director, Subroto Roy,Sahara India Media Ltd’s editor Upendra Rai and Sahara Samay reporter Subodh Jain for allegedly hindering the work an officer of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), who sent a notice to Roy in connection with the 2G scam.

    Kanimozhi defended by Jethmalani

Ram Jethmalani appeared for Kanimozhi in the CBI court, Delhi. The whole argument that Jethmalani made was based on the fact that Kanimozhi was not board member and she did not involve in the day today affairs of the kalaignar TV. The argument put forward by them shows how they used the law (company law) as the shield for corruption, The biggest disappointment was Ram Jethmalani’s appearance as he is fight a case on black money on the other side defending the corrupt. on the other hand other corporate accused argued that CBI is acting arbitrarily as they have not arrested Kalaignar tv’s persons. Tomorrow CBI to argue against the Bail plea.

One should understand that Kanimozhi can be assigned the meaning of a "Deemed Director" or  be assigned the meaning of "officer in default" as per sec 5(e) of companies act. As per sec 5(e) of companies act "any person in accordance with whose directions or instructions the Board of directors of the company is accustomed to act", means that though she not a director she can be assumed as a director. As per public statement of Mr.Amirtham, director( i think ex-director) kalaginar TV, she (kanimozhi) resigned due non clearance from central government and continued to take part actively in day to day affairs of the TV. Today's argument in the court shows how corporate body could be used for money laundering etc.. companies act, 1956 need to be revisited... may be family owned company should introduced with criminal liability on all member of the company as the family is the owner and should be responsible too in running the business

Our assessment is that sharat kumar & Kanimozhi will be arrested or at least Sharat kumar will be arrested.

Osama & Obama push Purulia arms drops case under the carpet at for least now…

Osama and Obama have became the talk of the world certainly a good thing to happen certainly for India. The Indian government was facing some tuff question regarding the purulia arms drop case now that people have forgotten completely about it. the concentration is now on Pakistan and terrorism.

MM Joshi to head the PAC for the second time

The speaker of the loksabha has reappointed MM joshi as the chairman of the PAC for the second time. The last meeting of the first PAC had witness  some unpresidential  behaviour from most of the PAC member. The majority of the member rejected the report on 2G spectrum. It will be interesting to see how the 2nd PAC will be functioning.
